A Little Bit Of Catch-Up

Sorry for being MIA, other life obligations have been taking precedence over blogging (shameful I know!!!)
Wednesday was crazy weather, snow again (might I mention it is now up to the 60's) The pups always seem to enjoy a little romp in the white stuff.

The weekend was dedicated to house work, yard work, & some patio progress was even made, I will add photos of that soon!!!
On Saturday night I was lucky enough to accompany Jada to the last night of the Brad Paisley Party Tour, which might I say was AWESOME!! Opening acts included Darius Rucker (Hootie!!) and Dierks Bentley (Hottie). I was told we had good seats, but I had no idea how good . . . I was basically front row to the extensions of the stage!!

The weekend rounded out with a pleasant day on Sunday spent just hanging out with the family!
Today was my first day back at school, Hailey's first day spending some quality time at childcare, and Karl's first time dropping her off at childcare. It just so happened I couldn't get her into childcare until 930am and my class began at 830am . . . so Karl met me at the education center and we did a Hailey hand off. It wasn't however without mishaps, she had to make mom's first day at school interesting!!
I got there a little early so I could give her one last breast feeding before sending her on her way. When I climbed in the back seat and pulled her out of her car seat she was COVERED in poo. We are talking MAJOR diaper explosion!!! Thank goodness I packed an extra outfit!! A quick change, some milkies and she was on her way with daddy -- but not so fast. As I was getting out of the car I realized I had left her milkies for childcare on the kitchen counter!! Oops. Luckily Karl had an hour to kill so he ran home and picked them up. Phew -- I survived Anatomy class, in fact it will hopefully be a cake walk considering I have basically taken it before, just "animal" anatomy (same damn thing, wish the school would realize that and transfer my credits!!!)
When I picked up Ms Hailey from daycare she was PTFO!! (Passed the **** out) for those who don't know the abbreviation! She was sitting with one of the daycare ladies in a rocking chair just snoozing away. She woke up when the childcare provider handed her off to me and proceeded to "blah, ba, mama, ba, ba" and tell me all about her day. I gathered all her belongs and her sippy cup was missing -- that's odd. The girls looked everywhere for it, they recalled Hailey walking around with it and then one of them got a slightly concerned look on her face. I saw her head to the little trash can and say something about "every time we'd dry our hands and throw out the paper towels Hailey would get them out of the trash can and give them back to us", that's my girl, just trying to be helpful! Lo and behold there was the sippy -- in the trash can -- trust Hailey :) They were very apologetic but it was no big deal, nothing some soap and water won't fix!!
SO, I have finished this weeks psych discussion board (good ol' online classes) and feel confident I can ace Wednesday's A&P quiz with no studying . . . now all I have to survive is work on Tuesday and Thursday -- I'm pretty certain that after this week I'm going to drop the work schedule to one day a week, at least for the next 8 weeks I'm in school -- after all I need a little time for sanity, and blogging of course!!! And if there is one thing that all of this has made me realize -- I didn't appreciate my lazy time just chilling with Hailey nearly enough . . . but now I soak it all up!! I mean who couldn't love all this adorableness?? . . .
