Boyfriends & Barrettes

Today was a rare occasion -- I had no work AND no school :) So Hailey and I made plans to meet up with a friend and have a little play time. Needless to say with my hectic schedule attendance at playgroup has been low (miss you girls though!!) so today Lindsey and I planned a little meet up of our own (she's a working mama too and therefore can only attend certain playgroups). Greyson and Hailey always have a good time together so we took them to the library for a little outing. Most of the pictures I'm afraid are a little blurry due to the fact that Hailey is ALWAYS on the go these days . . .

Afterward we went on base to post a package and have a look in the PX. I have been eyeing up hair barrettes for months now, longing for the day when Hailey would have enough hair for one. Today I found the teeny tiniest little barrettes and decided to give them a try . . .


Adorable I think :) Ok so it's a little ridiculous!! I did learn pretty fast that they will be worn only under the strictest of supervision -- I turned my back for a minute and when I looked over the barrette was gone and Hailey the classic "I don't know where it went mom" look on her face and her tell all sealed lips -- it didn't take me half a second to pry open her mouth and find the missing barrette!!

In the afternoon Nanny Jada came by to watch Hailey while I got a much needed hair cut -- I wonder what I pay her for . . .

I came home and both of them were out cold :) Rough job!! ;)
