Mommy's Little Helper, Sort Of!

Finally, it's Friday!! No work, no school, nothing to do :) Yeah, right! My "off" day was spent being a little lazy early on . . . Hailey and I stayed in PJ's and lounged about until 1130am . . . and then getting down to the nitty gritty of house cleaning, after all someone's gotta do it. So I enlisted a little (no pun intended) help!!

First there was laundry duty . . . she was gung ho to help for about 5 seconds . . .

and then discovered ...

"Look mama, dog bowls!!!"



Finally I had to take a stand, splashing in the dogs water was only creating more mess, so in the basket she went!!

Next I tried to entice her with the feather duster -- there was a layer of dust about an inch think on most of my flat surfaces!!!

She was curious at first . . .

And even showed some promise when she began making rounds -- could it be?? She's heading toward the bookshelf which is in major need of dusting!!!!

But, in the end she didn't make it there -- and the feather duster was left . . . in the dust!

Guess cleaning house won't be her forte . . . hold off on the Fisher Price vacuum and duster Nonni!!!
