1 Karl was in the field training, 2 Iraq, 3 Bahama's trip when he redeployed, 4 FAT and preggo,
and now 5! Seems like only yesterday . . . and yet so long ago! We've come a long way -- there have been ups and downs . . . we've been through a grueling 18 month deployment (although I still consider us very lucky to have only had to endure it once so far!!) and then just last year the loss of our first (four legged) baby (tear, I love you Cali girl!!) but the ups far out weigh any downs!! We have had the amazing experience of living in Germany together and traveling the world, we are living the American dream owning our own home and have our biggest blessing in life, our healthy happy baby girl!! Jersey, Molly & Sophie are blessings in their own way (haven't quite figured that out yet . . . just kidding girls!)
So how did we spend our big day? Nothing too exciting . . . Karl had work and I had to go on base to take Jersey to the vet. We met up and had lunch at Wendy's and then I spent the afternoon doing homework. I had an elaborate dinner in mind, but when asked if I'd like to go out and eat I was easily swayed!! Red Lobster was delicious!! And Hailey was the star of the place -- everyone commented on how cute and well behaved she was, what can I say our kids a keeper! She had her first experience with fish and LOVED it!!
Now it's off to lay in bed and relax with hubby . . . and did I mention getting a 100% on my Psychology quiz today, very exciting :) Oh, and no celebration is complete without presents -- so what did Karl get me? Just what I wanted, a new chopping block (I'm easy to please) but he knows that not just any block would do, so I got a PIGGY BLOCK, love it :) Yes, I know, I'm special. Nonni and Papa sent flowers, which are beautiful. Coincidentally today is their 30 year anniversary!! Perhaps had I not been so selfish and self centered when I was planning my wedding I would have realized I was doing so on my parents 25 year wedding anniversary!! Works out well this way though, because now I'll NEVER again forget their anniversary!

how cute! a piggy! You didn't know this but you will now! It's funny how we have things in common! You like the moo cows and I am a big BIG fan of pigs! I used to collect all sorts of porcaline pigs when I was younger! So....If your chopping block comes up missing....don't check your nannys cupboards!
Happy Anniversary!
