Today is Hailey's official "half birthday" . . . and we sure did celebrate!! Well, ok so it might not have been "celebrating" but we were super busy! We started the day by meeting one of Clarksville's finest, if you know what I mean. Yes, blue lights flashing in my rear view mirror were not what I was hoping to see on my way to the commissary at 9am. Unfortunatly it was a female cop (nothing against female cops) but obviously crying was out of the question. I swore the speed where I was was 40, but apparently it was 30 -- and I happened to be going 45, ouch! Acutally she claimed it was 47, but she was going to drop it down for me -- wow, THANKS!
So, following that minor debacle Christine, Hailey and I were on our way to base -- we visited Karl and Peter quick and then it was off to do some grocery shopping.
After shopping Hailey and I had a little while to play at home and then Jada came over to Hailey-sit while I went and got a much needed haircut. The first non-family babysitter went really well, infact Hailey slept the whole time I was gone =)
After my primping and a little chit chat with Jada Hailey bug woke up and Christine came over to prepare home made egg rolls for Saturday night . . . yummy!! Then I dyed her hair for her, she wanted rid of her highlights so we dyed it black, black, black . . . it looked really good!
We rounded out our day with daddy coming home, hanging out for awhile, bug falling asleep and me running around like crazy cleaning in preperation for the arrival of our weekend visitors, we're VERY excited!!
ANYHOW . . . HAPPY HALF BIRHDAY TO MY BABY GIRL. I cannot believe you're growing so fast!!

Sadly Yes, Hailey-bug slept and I couldn't even coerce the other "Brats" to come chill with me upstairs. Hailey I swear, i was going to pinch your cute 'lil cheeks so you could play with me but you were sound asleep. Next time BUG, next time.
