This past Sunday afternoon, as with most Sunday afternoons during the racing season, Karl had the NASCAR race turned on. Hailey seemed quite interested in the racing cars, and even decided to climb into a "race car" herself...I promise you this was all Hailey's doing -- no "set up" for a photo op here...in fact Karl and I were folding laundry and didn't even notice she had stole the basket and emptied it's contents :) Gotta love a kid with an imagination :)
climbing in and setting up....
double check the engine .... and she's off!
**Note the pig tails...I loved them, she hated them :) about 5 minutes later she was in her room ripping them out!**

The pig tails are a great idea certainly don't want all that hair blowing in her eyes when she's driving at those high speeds:-)
She's utterly adorable with those pig tails!
First country music ...now NASCAR!! You guys need a tour at Ft Drum so Hailey doesn't end up a "Possum Princess"! :) NASCAR is rarely a topic of discussion over chablis and brie at The University, is it, Aunt Lisa the younger?
Nice cabinet for the TV, BTW. I'd like to find something like that and refinish it so that it matches our new/redone furniture in the family room.
Even in the hills of KY, where Nascar was a way to outrun the law with a trunk full of "Mountain Dew", we don't watch that stuff. Get TVG on your dish so the girl can learn to handicap the ponies!
