PB & J -- We're A OK

I am happy to report that I finally gave into my irrational fear of feeding Hailey peanut butter. After much nagging from Karl and Nonni; and running out of picky toddler foods to feed her; I decided this past weekend to give it a try. We started with a minuscule amount spread on bread with jelly which was inhaled, so then I gave her some more -- again devoured -- and the result was one happy toddler; no hives, swelling, or anaphylaxis noted :) My next irrational food fear hurdle will be other nuts when she has the molars to chop on them . . .

Ok, glad you posted this because now maybe I'll finally try peanut butter with G. Thanks for being brave and taking one for the team :)

yay hailey! hopefully she'll continue to enjoy it, and the day at the park was just a fluke... i mean, my boys food was OBVIOUSLY a lot more interesting!!

Susan your next child (if that happens) will be drinking out of the dog dishes and eating whatever Hailey drops to include all the things you are wary of feeding her:-) Hailey will be saying here little one try this its great:-)Trust me I had two wonderful daughters, and as babies you ate whatever we ate because you would NOT eat baby food.

She looked very content afterwards. It must have hit the spot... you can let Karl know that Hayli hasn't had peanut butter yet either... it is a great fear of mine. Probably completely irrational, but a fear nonetheless!
