Time To Go So Soon?!

Sunday morning came far too fast, and before we knew it the alarm was ringing at 430am (I was already awake because the latest edition of COPS, Tampa Bay was going on just outside my bedroom window . . . and no I'm not kidding, just another perk of my parents condo in Ybor City!! Great access to all the bars, and even better front row seats to the drunken aftermath each and every weekend!) I leaned over to get Hailey and when I picked her up she was HOT -- thermometer reveled a temp of 102, whoopie!! Not that I was surprised, traveling by plane in the winter you are almost guarenteed to catch something. One dose of Tylenol knocked it out of her though, and we were on our way to the airport. Not before finding out however that Papa had made good on his promise to begin his tatoo collection (again, not kidding!!)
You see Papa decided that he wanted to get all of his grandkids names and a little symbol to represent each on his leg. . . so after Nonni and I had gone to our beds, he snuck out for a few beers and his first ink job . . . it's actually super adorable (I mean macho, whatever) The pic is a little blurry, but Hailey's symbol is a little Lady Bug, totally apprpriate for the little Bug!!



On our first plane home from Tampa to Atlanta we sat next to this really nice guy who shared his cool hat with Hailey . . .

Yup, Papa was on our flight until At lanta where we parted ways, he headed to Baltimore to go to the Skins / Ravens football game with Lisa while Hail's and I headed home to daddy in Nashville. It was a super trip home and Hailey was 4/4 on sleeping through plane rides, such a great baby!!!
