When he came home we went out for Mexican. Hailey enjoyed a plate of beans and rice, yum, and then we all got some Cold Stone Ice Cream to take home!
Once at home it was bath time, followed up by brush teeth time. I guess Hailey knew it was daddy's birthday because she even shared her toothbrush with him!! So generous!
Then it was story time. Tonight's pick was "Wake Up Sleep Bear", it should have been called Go To Sleep Wakey Bear -- because Hailey was far too awake for bedtime! Daddy had to wrangle her back several times to listen to the story! But in the end she curled up and laid her head on daddy and cuddled up for a long winter's nap!!

Karl I am calling the Stuffed Animal Police.....you are totally abusing the tiger! I bet those beans and rice kept her awake! Looks like you all had a fun night!!! And Hails wrong end on the tooth brush sister....the soft bristled end would work much better! But good job all in all.
Hmmm, ice cream and wide awake. Cause and effect? Works the opposite way for some people, though. Brownies and then wiped out in the recliner until I wake her for bedtime.
Maybe a few sips of margarita next time- relieves teething pain while ensuring snoozing before the first page of the story is finished. :>
Hey Karl I'm with Jada whats with the pillow oh no wait its wee Hailey bugs stuffed tiger, did you think we would not notice!!!!!!! We women notice everything, now get yourself a real pillow and quit abusing the kids toys.
