Latest Stats

In the far corner we have, weighing in at 19 lbs 8 oz and 31 inches tall, all the way from Clarksville, Tennessee -- Hailey Elisabeth!!! She may not have a whole lot of weight on her side, but she sure does have some long limbs :) Actually, according to Ms.Bush (our nurse practitioner) she is spot on for weight, it's just that her height makes her appear more slender!! Needless to say today's check up went great -- Hail's is ahead of the curve, she is only expected to know 3 words by 12 months of age and she is rolling along with the following -- mama, dada, all done, baba (baby), dada, bad dogs, cat, hi, dada, bye, dada, dada, dada -- did I mention she says dada? Anyhow we're proud of her! I got a referral to go and see a pediatric opthomologist at Vanderbilt, and should have an appointment within the next week. I have noticed a slight inward turn to her left eye (more so when she's tired) and with a long family history of ambleopia (me, my mom, my aunt, etc) I figure I better jump on it early.
She handled her shots like a trooper, only a moments worth of tears and then a kiss for mama, hugs and she was dressed and on the go again! Here's hoping no fevers crop up over night or tomorrow morning (or over the next two weeks, apparently that can happen with this set of vaccines, blah!!)

Checking out her toes after they checked her iron levels, which I am happy to report are just fine!

Hailey self medicating -- mmmmmmm . . . (don't worry, it's just Tylenol!)

In other news, Hailey has been enjoying her new lounge chair by the Land of Nod, courtesy of Nonni and Papa. She was more than happy to just sit in it for about 5 minutes, then she realized it was much more interesting to climb on and jump off -- FUN!! (insert photo of me pulling my hair out!)

Glad she's doing great - so funny that her and G are about the same height, but G's got a good 5-7 lbs. on her. She's so ready to be a super model - tall and lean!
