Super Bowl Sunday

So we wouldn't be us if we didn't host the gang's Super Bowl party (seriously ya'll, we host everything!!) But it's not like I mind playing hostess, and it actually makes sense since we are the only one's with a baby . . . our house is Hailey "friendly" and all her toys are here.

So the "gang", as I have affectionately dubbed them, came over and we had a Super Bowl fiesta. It was actually more like a Super Bowl pig out because we had enough food for like 40 people and there were 9 1/2 of us (Hailey pulled her weight eating crackers, so she gets to count as a half person ;) ) But it was a good time, and the food was delicious!! Everyone brought a dish and Karl made his yummy friend chicken!! Working at Popeye's through high school really paid off ;)

Hailey ofcourse had to make the round and hang out with everyone . . .

Molly couldn't get enough bonding time in with Christine, hahaha! I need to mention here that Christine is deathly afarid of dogs, even mine who would only ever lick you to death ;)



Hailey even found new and exciting things to play with, for example Brian's goatee, what can I say the girl likes facial hair?! . . .

And the light up feature on Garrett's watch . . .








She even took to gnowing on her baby dolls foot, so I decided to see how she liked it ;)


She may be onto something, baby is rather tasty . . . mmmm!








So even if the Steelers did win, BLAH, sorry I'm not a big fan of the "terrible towel" team -- and even if Bruce Springsteen did ram his crotch into the camera at half time (seriously, isn't that why we have tape delay, so we don't have to see those things?!) and the commercial were mediocre at best, it was still a great night with great friends!! Here's looking forward to the next gathering at the Sondermann house, this coming Wednesday when Hailey's playgroup comes to take over ... ahhhhh! ;)
