Tennessee State Fair

I have been meaning to get up pictures from last weekends trip to the state fair, but it's just been so busy around here with school, playdates, and work! But here are a few of our fun moments at this years TN State Fair...

Hailey at Tiny Acres Farm -- the cutest little interactive experiences for kids 4 and under!!!
She got to pick apples, oranges, milk the cow and go for a ride on the "Big Green Tractor" :)

And what state fair would be complete without a pony ride!! This was Hailey's first pony ride, and I must say she's a natural :) Although I never give a second thought to getting on a horse myself I have found it is very different putting your little one up there! I can only pray that she gets her mommy's good balance and great ability to "bounce" when thrown off because I'm pretty sure this won't be her last ride!!!

Weekend with the Ba-ba

This Saturday we had some company over to watch the Hokies AMAZING football game! I was honestly concerned there for awhile ... and it didn't help that Karl's Lieutenant, Nick, was a Nebraska fan!! But, we pulled off a win so all's well!! Jada, Garrett and Baby Greyson came over too and Hailey got to play with Greyson ... and more interestingly his car seat and the play mat that used to be hers :) She is so funny ... every time I take out some of her old toys for Greyson she just thinks they are the coolest things!! He is getting so big already; I can hardly believe he is a month old!!! Kids truly do grow up too fast ... but watching them do so is super rewarding!!!

And Molly was very interested in baby G ... I had forgotten that Cali was the only dog around when Hailey as this small!! But both Molly and Jersey, I am happy to report, were really great with the baby!

Thank You Aunt Kristen

Well Kristen...the birthday present you got me last year has FINALLY come in handy :) Although I am sure as Hailey gets older I will use them as they were intended to be used, for now the 101 cookie cutters have been very handy at keeping Hailey occupied while I cook dinner

O-Toodles!!!!

Well Hailey has gone from having absolutely no interest in watching TV, to being absolutely obsessed with Playhouse Disney!! This is the first thing she does every morning ....

Parks herself, in her old boppy chair that I had out for baby Greyson :), in front of Playhouse Disney!! We watch Micky Mouse Clubhouse, Imagination Movers, Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso ...

Needless to say (as anyone who has ever watched something on a daily basis) all of the theme songs are now stuck in my head ... and Hailey is even learning new words ... her new favorite is "O-Toodles" from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I'll have to catch her on camera saying it one day .. too cute!

So Cute

I had to share this news story, because let's face it ... if you're a parent you can TOTALLY relate to this dad's reaction :) Kids do the darnedest things!!!

ACC 2009

Perhaps if the Hokies had a running back THIS good they would have won against Bama!~

Molly Junior

No, for starters, she's NOT mine!! This is Molly Jr. aka mini Molly. She is the newest addition to the Pomeroy family (Abby is Karl's LT). She came to visit us and to get a bath and her toe nails clipped and to have a little play time with the pups! For only being 2 pounds she's pretty brave and feisty!!! Hailey thought she was a toy and had to be reminded not to pick her up!! Look Nonni and Lilly; this will be you next time you visit!!!

"Come out come out wherever you are!!" --- or I can just drag you!!!

Check out those molars!! Molly got to go for a ride in the new ponies basket!

Chuck E Cheese

We haven't ventured to CEC in quite some time; but last week we went with playgroup and what a difference it was! Hailey can do so much more now and really seems to enjoy going -- she was playing skeeball with Liam and Baylee

and she even showed me her equestrian skills :) I'm proud to say she got mommy's riding ability. But truth be told that's the only horse she's going to be on for quite some time; it's one thing for them to send me flying through the air ... I'm no sure I'm ready for her to start tumbling from those heights yet!
